A highlight of the Arbor Day Farm Tree Adventure attraction is the new Discovery Ride. Be one of the first to uncover the secrets and the surprises of the forest. Ride under the canopy of a giant red oak leaf. Embark on a one-hour journey through the woodland trails across the historic 260-acre Arbor Day Farm. Hayrack Rides & S'moresSeptember 6, 13, and 27, 7:30 - 9:00 pm
Depart on a round-trip hayrack ride from Lied Lodge to the historic Morton Oak where you will be entertained around the roaring campfire. Sip on orchard fresh apple cider and make your own yummy s'mores. $10 per participant (children 4 & under free). RSVP to Lied Lodge Front Desk.
AppleJack FestivalSeptember 20 & 21, 9 AM - 7 PM
A family event for all ages, AppleJack celebrates the apple harvest with city-wide weekend activities. Visit the Arbor Day Farm Tree Adventure to climb trees with expert arborists, meet Smokey Bear and Carly Cardinal, find your way out of the corn maze, have your face painted, buy a fruit tree, and much, much, more! Preservation Orchard Tours & Apple TastingSeptember 20-21

No trip to Arbor Day Farm is complete without a slice of our signature Arbor Day Farm Homemade Apple Pie. Top it with ice cream or caramel sauce for a delightful treat. Served daily in the Timber Dining Room. Whole frozen pies are also available at the Apple House Gift Shop and Lied Lodge Timber Dining Room. Take one home to enjoy later!
Birding TrailsDaily
One red-headed woodpecker. Two black-capped chickadees. Three American goldfinches. Take a walk at the Tree Adventure along the Tree House Trail and Exploratory Trail and enjoy the thousands of birds that live there. Trails are open daily.
