Arbor Day Family Festival

Saturday & Sunday, April 26 & 27, 10 am to 5 pm

There's no better place to celebrate the 136th anniversary of Arbor Day than the Tree Adventure. Family fun for all ages including: kite making and kite flying, live birds and reptiles, tree planting demonstrations and tips, tree climbing, cross-cut sawing, live music and food.

Discovery Ride Grand Opening

Saturday, April 26, 3:30 pm

Be the first to uncover the secrets and the surprises of the forest. Ride under the canopy of a giant red oak leaf. Embark on a one-hour journey through the woodland trails across the historic 260-acre Arbor Day Farm. Read more (link to http://www.arbordayfarm.org/discovery.cfm)

Scout Days

May 3 & 4, 11 am to 4 pm

Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will enjoy fun that only a forest can bring.

Scouts can embark on the new Discovery Ride, climb the Canopy Tree House, solve nature's secrets in the Nature Explore Club Cabin, hike the trails and get a free tree ID guide and tree seedling to plant at home.

Birding Trails - Daily

One red-headed woodpecker. Two black-capped chickadees. Three American goldfinches. Take a walk at the Tree Adventure along the Tree House Trail and Exploratory Trail. Count the thousands of birds that live there. Trails are open daily.

Learn more with Our Birds Nebraska, a CD field guide with songs and videos, and the IdentiFlyer, a hand-held audio bird song dictionary, both available at the Tree Adventure Gift Shop.

Spring & Summer Tours

Bring your school class, church group, men's or women's club for a day at the Arbor Day Farm and the Tree Adventure.

We're now booking Spring and Summer tours and events. We've got something for all ages including adult and youth groups. Read more.

Apple House & Pie Garden Are Open for the Season

Celebrate our spring re-opening with apple and cherry cider, home-made apple pie, gourmet foods and Arbor Day Farm wines.

Visit the new Wine Tasting Room. Open daily, 10 am to 5 pm.

From the Vine

Last fall's harvest of red and white grapes is just finishing its journey from vine to wine.

Can't wait for a taste? Join us for Arbor Day Farm wine tasting of reds, whites and sweet fruits.

Daily at the Apple House. Fridays and Saturdays, 5 to 7 pm, fireside at Lied Lodge.
